Emily Kilvington joins NH Architecture as Director
Emily Kilvington joins as a Director at NH Architecture as the practice continues strengthening its reputation for evidence based and design-led working architecture.
Emily, previously a principal at the practice, lead the design of complex projects and masterplans such as Melbourne Park and Arts Centre Melbourne. She rejoins the team as a director and will be pivotal in supporting the design direction and maintaining the highest quality multidisciplinary delivery of projects within the practice.
Over her career Emily has honed the suite of skills required for the delivery of large-scale projects with diverse stakeholder groups. ‘I find the outcome of the design process rewarding, but the process is just as enjoyable for me’ she said, ‘I enjoy the collaborative element of working on complex projects like these which require you to be agile and to think on your feet, there are a lot of moving parts.’
Managing Director Felicity Douglas said Emily’s appointment comes at a time when the practice is growing, ‘It’s an exciting time for NH Architecture, we’re in our 20th year of practice and we’re continuing to build on our reputation as problem solvers, growing our experience in delivering in the housing and health sectors alongside the work we’re well known for such as large-scale urban renewal, retail and mixed use. We’ve also been privileged enough to work on restoring and revitalising some of Melbourne’s legacy buildings at Queen Victoria Market and Arts Centre Melbourne. We are looking forward to the future with Emily’s exemplary leadership as part of our Directorship.’
Emily joins Directors Felicity Douglas, Nick Bourns, Astrid Jenkin and Hamish Lyon.
