Thomas is a highly skilled Architect with expertise in mixed-use and residential sectors. With extensive experience and a strong skillset in masterplanning and concept design, Highly adept in the concept design and the front-end stages of projects, Thomas honed and applied these skills in the Heidelberg Public Housing Masterplan. Thomas’s expertise in residential typologies and junior leadership role were integral in the masterplanning, documentation and schematic design of the government project, involving the renewal of two vacant sites into a mix of public and private housing.
Additionally, Thomas’s work on the masterplan and concept design for CUB, a large mixed-use project, consisting of 900 apartments as well as the Preston Market Vision Masterplan, have illustrated a valuable aptitude to responding to challenging design problems and complex client briefs. Thomas has played a pivotal team role in the development of several large-scale retail projects at NH Architecture including Commercial Bay in Auckland, and The Glen Shopping Centre. He has contributed on large projects with complex briefs, including Commercial Bay, and Melbourne Airport Masterplan.
