Along Chandler Hwy leading towards the mixed use hub a stepped profile of apartment buildings is terminated at the landmark precinct on the corner. This strategic corner site holds significant north-south links.
The largest area of the mixed use precinct accommodates the supermarket, centrally located to allow for positive frontages on all sides. The community hub site couples together both vertical accommodation for the community – in the factory shell and a taller apartment building behind on individual site footprints.
A new public realm network is planned in and around the activity hubs, these will comprise the improved streetscapes, village green and garden forecourts. A primary space is planned at the intersection of multiple desire lines in the mixed use hub.
